PRE-COURSE: THE "GENETIC MAKE-UP" OF COLOUR
For the artist who doesn't have access to (or want) every Decoart Americana colour, or who wants to use a different brand of paint altogether. Learn to really see colour for what it is, breaking it down so you're able to custom mix and match any colour using the paint you have.
Module 1 — The Magnetic Mandala
Your foundation for developing truly magnetic mandalas through strategic colour combining, and the many ways informed palette design transforms both your artwork and the opportunities you attract through it.
Module 2 — The Science of Colour Theory
Your introduction to the colour wheel and the colours that make it up, and how to use it to inform your colour combining choices as you design next-level magnetic mandalas.
Module 3 — The Psychology of Colour

About the creator
Hi, I'm Lauren
A painter and former high school art teacher turned business owner, mindset mentor and mandala artist. For as long as I can remember, I've worked with colour to inform my palette design choices and elevate the impact of my final pieces.
I believe my affinity for advanced colour principles is about 75% of why I've always found it easy to sell my art and attract a fast-growing community from sharing it online — not because I'm the best artist, but because I understand why people love art, and the psychological and emotional implications colour has on the art we love, and the art we don't.
I haven't just used pro palette design for my own art — I've taught it to countless high school art students, especially those putting together advanced portfolios to apply to some of the world's most elite art schools.

When can I start?
Immediately! You'll be sent access to the course materials as soon as you sign up, to work through on whatever time frame works for you, and refer back to for years to come, should you so choose.
How long do I have access to the course content for?
You have lifetime access to the Pro Palette Design curriculum.
How does it work?
You'll start with 7 theory-based modules covering the principles of colour theory, before moving onto the Pro Palette Formula, which brings the teachings together into a plug-and-play approach to designing pro palettes of any kind. Then you'll move into the Recipe Book, where I walk you through step-by-step palette design tutorials so you can see the teachings in practice.
I don't have access to Decoart Americana paints, or I prefer a different brand. Can I still take and benefit from Pro Palette Design?
Yes! The bonus pre-course module was built specifically for this — it teaches how to colour match and mix your own paint to replicate or substitute any colour of any brand. There will likely be a bit more mixing involved if you plan on using the done-for-you recipes, but the teachings will fully allow you to design beautiful custom palettes regardless of which paint you use.
I'm an artist, but not a mandala artist. Will PPD still benefit me?
Yes! While the course caters some of its content to mandala artists in particular, the principles taught can be effectively applied to any painting style or art form.
Is there any support from you provided inside the course if I have questions?
There's a questions section below each module that I keep active, so students can ask questions as they work through the material — however this isn't an included, guaranteed feature, and I'm not able to provide feedback on the palettes you create. PPD is a DIY course and I'm able to offer it at a very accessible price point by not offering an official form of support. That said, if you ask a question there I'll do my best to respond.
English is not my first language. Are there subtitles or translations available?
Yes! Every video has the option to turn on captions and translate them into whatever language you need, right from the video player.
Do you offer refunds?
Due to the nature of PPD and the content inside, there are no refunds available after purchase. This protects my digital products and helps ensure my business attracts those who respect the time and effort that's gone into creating it. Please be sure you're committed before signing up.
